Another week, another theme and five more encounters. Below we’ve got a review of those encounters as well as the other ideas that didn’t make it!
We are updating our schedule a bit and moving forward will post new text encounters every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We will also have new video encounter overviews every Sunday – Friday, meaning the only day without any content will be Saturdays.
DnD Creator Spotlight
Artist: If you’re looking for monster inspiration for your next session, Derek Thompson (derekmonsterart) is a great place to start. Sketches of scary lookin’ creatures, with some from movies; practice your DM skills by describing what you see.
Podcast/Live Play: Legends of Avantris always looks like they’re having so much fun in their clips! Lots of shenanigans, the most Harry Caray voices we’ve come across, and they just launched a Kickstarter for Crooked Moon, a folk horror supplement for 5th edition.
Maps: skullfungus has one of the more unique map styles we’ve come across on Instagram. Fun fact, they are also the author of an RPG about being shipwrecked on a primordial island called Isle of Ixx.
Have other creators we should feature? Let us know!
