A festive armor set for DnD or any TTRPG.
Looking to spruce up your character for the holiday, try on this Christmas tree armor set.
Item 1: The Tree Topper. This spiky star-shaped helmet grants a +2 on any unarmed strike when the player headbutts their target. It radiates light and, once per day, can launch a starry beacon into the sky that directs the players to any known location.
Item 2: The Fir Coat. This well-insulated coat of evergreen leaves grants cold resistance. When the wearer stands still, they gain the “False Appearance” ability, resembling a harmless shrub and avoiding detection.
Item 3: The Tree Skirt. The player can use their bonus action to shake their hips, sprinkling sharp dead pine needles at their feet. These function like caltrops, dealing piercing damage and reducing movement for those who pass over them.
Some other ensemble ideas with this armor outfit.
- Jingle Belt (from @thedanioli): Shiny belt with 2d6 baubles hanging from it that the wearer can take off and throw. Each one is infused with a different spell, like dancing lights (red and green), chromatic orb (the bauble), faerie fire, hypnotic pattern, incite greed (holding out a Christmas gift), pyrotechnics, sleep (for Santa), and it might be a stretch but Tasha’s hideous laughter for festive cheerfulness. 1d4 baubles come back per day and roll for which effect they get.
